This is going to be short and sweet but I've got to write for the past two days! Oi . . .
Yesterday was spent cleaning, babysitting and spending time with my sister and her husband. There may or may not have been a visit to Twistee Treat thrown in there somewhere. My sister is an amazing person (both of my sisters are). She works two jobs and goes to grad school full time, not to mention keeping house and cooking. I feel like some of my greatest gifts are serving by way of food and cleaning so I helped out a bit for my sister to alleviate the stress but I think I got the better end of the deal! Great company and great food.
For breakfast I made these little beauties which are quickly becoming some of my favorite breakfast food. They are so easy to make and they don't have any sugar in them. Plus, as I said to my sister, they are healthy simply because they only make twelve! The only thing I did differently than the recipe was putting chocolate chips on top instead of pecans. But really you could use any topping you wanted. Blueberries would be fabulous.
After getting home today I decided to dive into fixing up some things in my room. I did that and also tried not to die in the humidity. Really, Florida, calm down. Now it is sleeping time for me and my tired feet. Because "I've got a great ambition to die of exhaustion rather than boredom." --Thomas Carlyle. Where do they come up with these things.
